The Montessori approach to learning is a holistic preparation of the child through their individualized learning journey and encompasses all facets of a child’s well being and development (physical, mental, social, emotional).
Our programs have therefore been structured to encompass indoor and outdoor learning environments, music and sensory stimulation, gross and fine motor development, creativity and self expression.
Our team of passionate Montessorians meticulously prepare our beautiful environments daily with developmentally appropriate materials that challenge, inspire and motivate children. Dr. Maria Montessori discovered that experiential learning in a carefully prepared environment led to a deeper understanding of language, mathematics, science, cultural subjects, music, social interactions and much more. Every piece of equipment in a Montessori environment supports an aspect of child development, creating a match between the child’s natural interests and the prepared activities. Our specialized multi-sensory, sequential and self correcting materials allow the child to experience the joy of natural learning and uninterrupted time to enjoy the process. This process naturally develops concentration and leads to the intrinsic satisfaction of mastery.
